Soybean planting is just getting started, 8% planted and that is fairly close to average. It may not be some of the record fast paces but we’re fairly typically for planting pace in soybeans. Next week we should see a big improvement. We wouldn’t be surprised to see beans in the low to mid 20’s for planting progress. Bottom line, planting is not at a record pace but it’s off to an ok start and we believe planting is accelerating at this time with most areas seeing conditions conducive for planting and temperatures are warming up.
