Corn sales were disappointing at 44 thousand tons.  This is not a big time of year for U.S. exports, but it was still somewhat disappointing.

Soybean inspections also somewhat disappointing at 13.1 million bushels, well below the level needed.

But keep in mind this is the official export inspections and there is quite a bit of beans, maybe 50-60 million bushels that typically shows up at the end of the year that does not get counted in the report.

Corn inspections at 36.7 million bushels, that’s a very disappointing number.

The only good news is that last week’s inspections were raised from a very low 26 million bushels up to 34, so raised about 8 million bushels.

Soybean exports were also disappointing at 13 million bushels, less than half the level needed to reach USDA export forecast.

We have some bearish news from the outside markets, somewhat in the weather, and the export inspections all keying up to create the large losses we had seen today.

Corn exports were disappointing at 26.6 million bushels, that’s less than half the level needed.

Export inspections added to the overall negative attitude today.

Soybean exports bounced nicely from last week to 430 thousand tons.

We have already reached the USDA export sales total, that’s why the level needed is negative.

Corn export sales were at 280 thousand tons, that is up from the previous two weeks, not by a lot, but very close to the level that is needed to reach USDA forecast.

Wheat export inspections are wrapping up the marketing year with just one week left for this year.

Today’s export inspection was 11.37 million bushels, one thing we want to point out is since the Russia/Ukraine war began in late February U.S. exports of wheat have not been impressive at all.  

Down the road some world buyers may be forced to buy US wheat given the lack of supplies available out of Ukraine and also shrinking supplies out of India.
