This drought monitor was released yesterday and reflects conditions through Tuesday. Last week we did see some drying in the northern Plains. We saw improvement in the central and western Plains. Keep in mind, with the rains that have fallen through much of IA, central and southeastern MN the drought conditions here should see some improvement in next week’s drought update.
